The Big News Excuse!!

Ive done it again, started something and totally forgot about it! 
This is the problem with me, once something happens in my life it takes over it completely and I easily forget about everything else, and this time its my blog!
Well I guess this time Ive got a pretty good excuse, and I must say Ive been totally busy enjoying my new status as an engaged woman!
Yes, its finally happened, the man who I fell in love with nearly 5 years ago has asked me to share the rest of our lives together (and take his surname which im debating lol)
The ones who know me well are probably wondering how this has all happened, as in the past year me and my now fiancee Philip have been anything but a happy couple, in fact we werent even going out with each other when he got on one knee and asked me to change my status of an "ex" to "fiancee"
I know this has all happened very sudden, random, unexpected, you name it, and I was pretty shocked myself. but now I am the happiest woman in the world! and not because I have a gorgeous ring on my finger, or because I have the Big Day to plan soon, but because I have made the decision to commit to the man who means the world to me and who I fell in love with from the moment Ive met. The man who has been there when I laughed and cried, who seen me at my worse (in the mornings) and at my best and everytime said im beautiful,  who knows my deepest fears and who can make me feel safe just by cuddling me, the man never judged me and who has let me in and made me a part of his world! The man who loves me as much as I love him! 

But anyway enough of this, I will come back to this subject once I start planning the wedding :)

My Inspiration

the dream coming true...

Ive always wanted to do a shoot with the horses, even before the modelling days. Its kind of been a big dream. Then one day Ian turned up, and very bravely offered to organise it all! If only he knew what he was putting himself into.... and this is where it all began. 
Months of preparations, falling in love with the horses, and hours of practicing. 
The day has finally come, and sadly already finished, but it was one of the most amazing days ever!
We had an absolutely fantastic team, Ian as a photographer, Jess as a stylist and an art director, and Jemma as an MUA, and we even had an Ade-ssistant! and ofcourse our gorgeous, but a bit unprofessional models - Ginge, Layla and Lilly, and a massive thank you for everything to Jayne and Daniele! 

Well its been a lot of smiles, adrenaline and fantastic shots! We wanted the best and we got the best! Still got a massive smile on my face! and cant wait to see the act shots!!! xx

Milan

This is going a few weeks back now, but I thought Ill go back and just write about all Ive been up to since the spring has started, as its been pretty exciting!

My first bit of sunshine came to me on my little trip to Milan, I went there for a week to work!
On my first day after I arrived I remember waking up to the church bells and the sun shining through my window (I think its pretty easy to work out by now that nothing makes me more happy than the sun shining haha). For the first few days I stayed just outside of Milan in a beautiful countryside area, just near the mountains and a few lakes. So you can imagine how wonderful it was when I went outside to enjoy my 1st espresso of the day, the view was breathtaking! I was in love already!
The next few days were all taking up with shoots, i have worked with some amazing photographers, its just ashame I dont speak Italian, and they didnt speak English, however Ive learned one word pretty quickly - "bellissimo" ! In between work I was eating lots of amazing food, and drinking the best wine- italians are possibly the best hosts in the world!
The day before I was about to come back I went to explore the capitol of fashion- the city of Milan! Ill try to sum it all up in one sentence- designer shops, hot men, amazing coffee, a lot of motorbikes and wonderful culture! There was so much to see and experience in Milan, and its ashame I only had one day to be there, but i tried my best to capture some of it using my Pentax film camera.
Overall it was a great trip and very interesting experience, but I was starting to miss England, so living there would not be an option for me, even though I was offered to stay by a fashion agency. So here I am back in lovely Preston with the people I couldnt leave behind for too long :) 

I LOVE Sunshine!

Well the spring is defiantly here, and we have even had some great weather over the weekend (unfortunately right now it is raining again :( ) and there is nothing more inspirational than watching the world waking up to a bit of sunshine!

Ive defiantly been inspired, and that is why I had finally sat down to create my blog! So welcome! Hopefully I wont be very lazy and will be updating very often with all the exciting things that go on in my life, and having little discussions with myself about the wonderful and sometimes weird world of modelling! So watch this space!
